Cross Country season finished with a great days racing in beautiful sunshine at Ruffey Lake Park - Doncaster last Sunday July 31. Plenty of medals heading the way of our athletes during a very competetive day of EMR racing. Results can be found @ http://www.emr.org.au/. Many thanks to all our parents and kids who made the XC season a successful one, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. I am very
fortunate to have some excellent support from the following parents, Darren,
Emma, Damian and Lisa who really make my job a simple one. Thank you all.

Hi to you all, Thanks on behalf of Dennis, Cassandra, Isabella and myself on the many messages of sympathy (as well as the food deliveries that came) on the recent passing of Dennis’ mum after a protracted illness. Thanks also for the flowers that were delivered from the Kew Little Athletics “community” - they were beautiful. It really is a lovely group of people we are lucky enough to be involved with. Regards, Dennis, Manny, Cassandra and Isabella xxx

Fantastic job by all our rostered parents in helping put the morning together, without your support we just cannot host these events. A special mention to our U7 boys (the Rat Pack) who only know one way to race and that is flat out !!!!! They filled 6 of the top 14 finishing positions, well done Tom, Kane, Owen, Charlie ,Will and Finlay. And well done to all our runners who raced extremely well on a very wet course.

Great XC conditions greeted runners at Ruffey Park Lake, Doncaster yday and a good turn out of Kew runners considering it was the middle weekend of the school holidays. Please note all cross country families, there has been a change in the schedule. EMR Champs date has changed from June 19 to July 31. Calendar section of this website has been updated.
A chilly but dry morning greeted our XC runners last sunday at Gardiners Creek, Box Hill. A number of new kids and parents turned up and it was great to see some new faces and of course all our regulars who continue to support Kew XC. I hope all our runners blew a few cobwebs out of their system and can look forward to some solid training and competition over the next 3-4months. We move to Ruffey Lake Park, Doncaster next Sunday for a very challenging XC course, plenty of grassy hills and all the kids will know they have had a race in what is one of the best XC courses in the eastern region. With the ANNUAL GENERAL
MEETING to be held on Saturday morning March 26, ALL COMMITTEE POSITIONS WILL BECOME VACANT. Please feel free
to approach any committee member for information but with many of us having
children in the older age groups, groups, new blood is what we need. This is
especially important in the areas of Coaching and Team Management where we are
seriously short in support across the club. Without parent helpers, we will not
be able to offer as much to our kids. Please consider these roles and ask
questions now - we are all happy to assist with handover. We generally meet
monthly, are a friendly group and work as a team. Positions as stand which will
be up for re-election: ·

Well done to our athletes who competed at State Multi Event @ Shepparton Little Aths Centre over the past weekend. A physically and mentally tough challenging day competing against some of the state's finest had many of our athletes setting personal bests(PB'S). Congrats must also go to Shepparton for hosting(in conjunction with Little Aths Vic) the event on a magnificent grass track with barely a cloud in the sky. A great weekend had by all who attended. We highly reccommend this event to athletes who really want a challenge. Full results can be found on the following website : Little Athletics Victoria
